Yeah, I struggle with this.

How can we possibly be Christian if every assault against us the only reply is to “turn the other cheek.”

Is there no defense allowed?

Seems absurd and suicidal.

There are 2.5 billion Christians, not exactly a death cult and in virtually every instance but the one mentioned above it is the one true religion.

A good question. Much of the modern Church has abandoned a proper and robust theological understanding of this larger subject.

A lot I could say here but I will simply state that the Scriptures present a firm foundation for such things as self defense, dutiful defense of the oppressed, resistance to tyranny, just war, righteous anger and righteous hatred.

Turning the other cheek is not mean to be understood as passive alloeance of others to steamroll over you or those in your care, like children.

Men in particular are to be properly pious, a duty that includes defense of family, household, and community.

Also, important to point out that loving my enemies is knowing that I am a wretch worthy of eternal damnation for my sin but for the grace of God. That if he can forgive me, I can (and am commanded to) forgive anyone when they repent. If they do not repent, I place my trust in Christ's perfect judgement knowing that God means it when he says "'vengeance is mine, I will repay', says the Lord".

...I reread this and feel compelled to say that no AI was used in this response.

It’s easy to tell AI vs Not.

Just look for the “it’s not X, it’s Y” type responses.

Not a 100% hit rate, but they use it a LOT.

Prove it. Say the n-word.

So, how do we define neighbor?

How do we define brother?

Black and jews are for the most part degenerative to society.

How does Christianity suggest we deal with the worst of them?

Neighbor is your literal neighbors. Those within your community and who you cross paths with regularly. Same with your enemies.

There is a sense in which the application of neighbor and enemy extends more broadly, like on polity and nation-state levels, but the post war consensus universalized everything into abstraction. We are not called primarily to love our neighbor "humanity" in the abstract but those in the locales in which we are embodied and rooted.

Brother is any Christian believer but again the emphasis is on local church bodies and community life. I share a bond of brotherhood and fellowship with all God's people across time and space but I can only express the "one another" commands of the NT within my own local context.

As for your comments about blacks and Jews, what specifically do you have in mind? The statement is speaking about two pretty diverse people groups in a generalized way.

Christianity redeems and purifies all peoples and cultures. Each peoples has their own particular forms of degenerative sins. Some are arguably more destructive than others but none are beyond the redemptive grace of God and "dealing with them" usually comes down to specifics.

Also worth noting that the Church and a righteous magistrate have their particular spheres and duties in applying and upholding God's righteous standards. So the Church has a way of "dealing with" degeneracy that is distinct from the State.

Blacks are the bio weapons jews use to degrade society.

Degenerate post 1970s American black culture does not encompass all blacks. Neither does whatever people mean when they use the boogyman term of "the Jews".

We probably won't see eye to eye on this. Ultimately if you want to combat evil in all its forms, worship Christ, repent of sin, get your own household in order, bless your community in spiritual and tangible ways, work diligently with your hands, hold godly marriage in high honor, raise children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, reassume respinsobility and duties we have grown accustom to exporting onto others, pray for justice, and don't waste energy on the globalist cabal.

Blacks are 85iq, being kind.

Jews murdered Christ because they are the anti christ.

Blacks are the bio weapon jews use to disseminate society.

Open your eyes.

Disintegrate

Reread my last post.

Reread mine.

We can treat them with humanity, we don’t have to live with them.

That's funny because that's maybe the part of Christianity that I agree with most.

How?

Doing the opposite of someone is the greatest insult possible, and I love insulting people. If someone is angry and insulting me, nothing gives me greater pleasure than responding calmly and complimenting them.

To be clear, I also like responding to compliments and calmness with insults and anger, but that's besides the point.
