Oh. It’s legendary. Maybe you won’t find it awesome now, now that it’s time is gone. But when it came out ~1969, it was quite quite ahead of its time.

It’s a Stanley Kubrick classic.

The novel of the same name (Arthur c Clarke)came around the same time as the movie and tbh, I didn’t understand the first few times I saw it (I slept the first few times). Then I read the novel. Then I kind of got it. But it’s great just for its cinematography, it’s minutes long scenes of space, its ost. But HAL,the super computer ai(the one that started this question/thread) is the legend that got very famous.

Yes, I’m a fan and it’s one of my favourites.
