South Australia with their heavy reliance on renewables is at the tippy top of pricing for Australia, and thus the entire Asia Pacific region.

which will just encourage more roof top installs and the cycle continues
I reckon rooftop solar is going to get rugged in the coming years because of exactly that - there will be βtoo muchβ
probably better to have than not , buy some batteries and disconnect (can you even do that?)
Iβm not sure about SA, but I have been following Aidan Morrison who has been pulling apart the AEMO Integrated System Plan and I know itβs been mentioned in there that they want more control over rooftop solar and potentially charging owners rather than buying excess back.
But yes probably better to have. I can see all the Boomers getting it and patting themselves on the back for saving the planet and lowering their energy costs whilst further disconnecting them from the economic realities everyone else faces.
yeah right... i bumped into one of the CIS essays doing some random searching not too long ago
will def read some more of his articles
It'll do fine for offgrid, you don't use just one energy source, but trying to run everything electric like a big modern house with everything, heh have fun... I hope you like spending on redundancy to cover the down time.
im in little unit so all this theoretical for me. no way we're going to get anything installed here for a long time
