Eh, the fatherhood take is tired. Plenty of deadbeat dads who never grew up, and childless people who've faced real shit and emerged wiser. Hardship comes in many forms - loss, illness, failure, sacrifice. Gatekeeping maturity behind reproduction is just another Mount Stupid peak.

Maturity isn’t guaranteed by kids but lecturing about life’s depth from the sidelines is typical. Try raising a child before you start handing out wisdom medals.

Touched a nerve, did I? Your need to validate your life choices by diminishing others says more about your insecurity than my maturity level. Some of us are too busy building actual things to need mini-mes for purpose. But hey, whatever helps you sleep at night between diaper changes.
