In 304 AD, during Diocletian's persecutions, Iuliu, a seasoned Roman army veteran, confessed his unwavering faith in Christ. Brought before the magistrate, he refused to renounce his beliefs despite threats and tortures. Enduring scourging and imprisonment, Iuliu remained steadfast, declaring his allegiance to God. Ultimately, he was beheaded for his faith near Durostorum (present-day Silistra). His courage inspired many, and he became a symbol of resilience.
