Martyr Made is the only podcast I listen to regularly and the only Substack I sub to. It's the only reason why I will listen to JRE and probably have to listen to ads. Whatever, I make exceptions.

Always up for a new Podcast, just looked at Martyr Made and it looks like they only did a couple episodes in 2024?
Yea, he's not the type who is in it to entertain people. Really for history nerds of sorts.
He's a researcher who does very deep dives into subjects. He reads hundreds of materials and spends hours on a subject so he probably spends more time reading than actually recording a podcast.
His podcast series goes all the way back to 2015 maybe earlier but they're hours and hours long.

What did you think of the interview? It was great seeing Darryl on there and I hope it grows the number of people interested in his stuff, but I feel like it was like Survey of Martyrmade 101 as far as the depths they went to conversationally. Maybe that’s what Rogan’s good for though
Yea, it's that! It was more for people who are new to Darryl Cooper. Most of us who follow him already kind of know how he is.
I don't listen to Rogan much.. I do know he just has conversations with people vs prodding or interviewing them.
