I have been thinking of it similarly to you; the stupid / malleable / lazy people are being corralled and the free / curious / disciplined first principle thinkers are self selecting into a much more powerful group. Things like Bitcoin and Nostr are the new Schelling point for sovereign people. It’s actually amazing.
