Chaplin was a long with gags. I can give you that.
But Keaton was the stone face that couldn't get a break. Masterful angles too enhance the comedy. Did all his own stunts.
Some failed and he kept them in! Changing the stories and set to make those gags work instead!
Btw that's Orson Wells in the beginning being quoted. Considered one of the best actors and Filmmakers, considered to have made the "perfect film" saying "He was the greatest of all the clowns in the history of the cinema, Buster Keaton."
