That's pretty irrelevant to this PR or issue. Storage growth will continue over time. The growth of the UTXO set is the greatest concern related therein, and hence taking steps to reduce unpurgeable data should be a focalpoint. Arbitrary data will be stored no matter what. Should wr promote perpetual growth in use of unspendable outputs (scriptsig outputs), spendable but likely never spent outputs (inscriptions), or easily purgeable (op returns)?
