He's correct, that they defined particular personal attributes as "left" (they use this as a synonym for "good"), so everyone else is automatically "right". This has created a gigantic, heterogenous coalition, on the right.

That's why they always have "Fight against the right!" marches here, that are directed against the vast majority of the populace and most voters.
