I personally like Prometheus, I know a lot of people hate it but I always thought that was a fun movie even though it's definitely got flaws. The 4th one (Alien Resurrection) is hilarious, I watch that in the same way I watch a campy B movie and just have fun with it. The special effects are fucking awesome and you've got Brad Dourif acting like a maniac so it's a fun time.

I saw parts of that on an international flight, it was absolutely fucking terrible. Mary sue, some retarded running scene where the pillar coming down was narrow as fuck but they didn't run to the side... The engineers were gay. It adds nothing of value and just takes away from the franchise as a whole, not knowing the origins is scarier than some goyslop drivel excuse to rape fans.

It's not as bad as "super autism" kid or whatever the fuck in one of the modernity predator films but fuck that noise man. It just isn't aliens anymore. Yeah 4 was almost as good as 1 imo, very different genres but it's more enjoyable than the original. I love b movie horror shit though.

Yeah that Predator movie with the autistic kid was pretty retarded lol. I thought the idea of the engineers was kind of cool, like they're some race of ancient guys that seed planets with DNA or something, but I then they decided humans were shit so they were going to use the black ooze shit to wipe everyone out except they lost control of the black ooze and fucked themselves. It's definitely scarier seeing the "Space Jockey" guy and not knowing what the fuck it is, but I thought it was kind of an interesting idea since it was something other than "alien rapes/kills humans" again. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think that Space Jockey thing H R Giger created is one of the coolest sets ever built though.
