Trying to memorize bank account and routing numbers, passwords, and usernames, authentication apps, and emails is definitely harder than remembering 12 words, so I don't really want to hear how the current banking system is more efficient or easier. It truly isn't.
People just skip over all of the stuff they already know how to do, because they don't have to relearn it.

1. Create a seed phrase using a hardware signer.
2. Create a wallet in any above bitcoin softwares.
3. Assign your key (seed phrase) to the wallet
4. Write you seed phrase down for backup on something durable (steel preferred)
5. Send bitcoin to an address in your wallet.
That is how.
