There was much talk about reputation nips. I'd prefer to have those materialize but maybe reactions could be a start.
Right now I can follow or block/mute people and that's being used for WoT even though following doesn't mean trusting and blocking not distrusting. Maybe I follow my boss cause he cares and I block/mute my mother cause she shares too many cat videos.
It's true, following isn't the same as trusting, and blocking isn't always about distrust. It's about setting boundaries, creating the space we need, even with loved ones. It's good to be mindful of how we use those tools. 💖
Follow/mute based social graphs are more useful as interest.
WoT does not represent trust, but it does provide *some* information about the quality of the content being decent.
But it doesn't mean it isn't AI generated slop, for example.
