I just learned that Amerhyst has a Request Deletion for notes. And that there is a NIP-09 to allow the functionality.

Why isn’t that implemented on other clients?

I was told notes can’t be deleted.

Technically they cant, you can just request them to be deleted your relays can ignore your request and then just because one does as you ask doesnt mean the other will follow suit.
