really ? must be the school.. I was in school at that same time n didnβt get encouraged by the school to read it

I mean even when I was in school 25 years ago, it wasnβt required even in AP literature classes, but it was on lists of recommended reads to get credit forβ¦ we were recently talking about good books for my teenage son to read and she had said that she read it in one of her high school classes because it was recommended.
Thatβs crazy I wish I knew about it back then!! π€―
