Even it that's true and silver reaches 3 digits... let's walk into a coffe shop and buy some dark brew with a silver coin? (If someone can pull it off please let me know) On the other hand plenty of places will gladly accept your humble sats so BTC is already more important in trade than silver and I dare say gold! That's my humble opinion!
