upon switching back to Brave browser, which does not force me to have DRM garbage running, which blocks me from screenshotting my web browser on pages with it loaded, which is frequently the case with nostr clients, i discover that sans VPS i am still unable to use the alby wallet.

so it's back to the wallet of satoshi on my phone, because it's not possible for me to run a proper LN channel right now as i have zero spare sats for such, and alby, being the only lightning wallet extension, is a huge pain to connect up with a proper native wallet.

i don't have my brave browser set on excessively stringent malware and spyware blocking, but clearly alby requires something known to be either privacy or security violating, and they better fix it.

the large majority of nostr users are very disappointingly unconcerned with matters of copyright freedom, unfettered access to their own computing hardware, and several bitcoin influencoors seem to be unconcerned that librewolf has DRM and that unless you enable it, you get nags ond most nostr clients that you can't disable.

when i have to make a choice between my privacy, computer security, and using an application, being able to send zaps inside the browser interface is at the bottom of my priority list.

because i have very few sats anyway.
