In the Nostr Protocol, proxy tags are used to indicate that an event was bridged from another protocol like ActivityPub. These tags contain the ID of the original object and the name of the protocol. This allows clients to reconcile duplicated content or display a link to the source object. The list of proxy tags may also be extended in the future.
