There are some half baked ideas out there to distribute the snapshots via p2p in the future(tm).
nostr:npub1az9xj85cmxv8e9j9y80lvqp97crsqdu2fpu3srwthd99qfu9qsgstam8y8BR053: the upcoming v26 release only supports assumeutxo on testnet and signet.
v27 might support mainnet. The code contains a hash, but you have to bring your own snapshot (I'll probably publish a torrent).
