Apparently cash usage has dropped from 70% of transactions to 13% over the past 10 years in Australia.
Literally can’t use cash anymore at many Gov “service providers” (what an oxymoron), at stadiums, events etc
I’ve noticed more places here in US going cashless since 2020.

EU as well, especially in countries like Germany and Austria
It should be illegal to decline cash as a form of payment
