I never ran one, but I used to connect to my local one before we had Internet in my town. We also used to have local BBS meetups. ❤️🤣 Going to them as an 8th grader was something different back then.

That’s so awesome. I ran one in 8th grade and had about 50 people around town of all ages using it. I had a glimpse of what the internet could mean for community building. And now, here we are.
