The need for growth comes from the ego. All we need is to love ourselves and be in the present moment.

We will not be more at peace and happy in a kardashev type x civilization. As long as our hearts are not pure love for everything and everyone we will just do bigger and bigger damages to every life forms due to misuse of technological progress.
