I suck at trading and timing, and as a rule, think hodling through the bears is the right move.

But the only btc-outgoing trade I ever made since swearing off shitcoins in 2015 turned out to be my best trade. Sold some of the stack at 57k for fiat. I took a year off of work to address an overabundance of what the HR types like to call "life events". No ragrets.

Eventually went back to work in early 2022, but didnt start buying again until like 18k. 18k was too fucking hard to resist. I was like "imma dip my balls in this!"

So maybe I don't suck at trading after all?

Top notch!

Make sure you backup your wallet seed in multiple locations! One of my buddies won't tell me how much he lost that way (but it ended his retirement-at-thirty very fast).

I went overboard with multisig. It would require collusion between parties that aren't aware of each others' existence across multiple jurisdictions. And even then, they still would have to brute force a passphrase before I found out.

As far as I can tell you weren't acting from greed.

I know someone else who made a similar trade & then landed a Bitcoin job.

I wish I'd done something similar with hindsight. Things got pretty tight & stressful for a while there.
