Really ? I find the shield a more reliable defensive tatic than the roll in more than half the time lol but maybe that's just for my build ? My crest shield 5+ saved me so much.

Yep, greatsword with plenty of stamina, if I remember correctly. I somehow managed to beat the last boss quite easily. The shield for me still had its utility in Demons, DS1 and DS2, but I’ve grown accustomed to not using it at all in From games, thanks to this first build I used 😂
I won't be able to find it all, it was a Saber Lily cosplay build, probably isn't uploaded anywhere anymore, that was in 2012.
I also have plenty of stamina is more for defense haha I can see that, great swords have good poise damage and Gwin is boss that's good to keep him pressed.
The only game I didn't use shield was bloodborne as you don't have more than two shields to pick and they aren't usable in most cases, I used only once against a hunter NPC who shots blunderbuss nonstop.
