Some dude who spends $450K/year wants to hire someone (who likely wouldn’t even make $450K/year) to help him figure out where he spends all that money. He can’t even be bothered to monitor his own accounts on a monthly basis to make a basic budget. Do you think that guy is ever going to take responsibility for holding his own private keys?

There are multimillionaires asking financial advisors who don’t even have a fraction of their wealth for permission to retire early. Do you think they will hold their own keys?

There will be bitcoin banks. Let’s make sure they are full reserve banks.

Yes agree, but there also WILL be multimillionaires who currently are their own bank. They CAN be bothered to build and monitor their sovereign financial destiny by holding their own keys.

Of course. They just aren’t and won’t be the norm.

Security is much more complex than basic money management and the vast majority of people don’t even trust themselves with basic money management.

Security should never be compromised in an attempt to appeal to the people who refuse to take basic responsibility for their financial futures.

Understood. 🤙
