So this has been a rerurring theme on #phoenixwallet but after ditching #muun and #breez the only alternatives left are running my own #lightning node or going back to custodial wallets? #asknostr

What are custodial and non-custodial wallet? English is not my primary language and I don't understand the difference

In non-custodial #bitcoin wallets you hold the secret keys to have direct access to your bitcoins. In custodial wallets you do not.
