This actually has law behind it. They are an American company with no British assets. From what I've read they will likely win and Ofcom can kick rocks.
It's nonsense. Ofcom's fines are just a process, no one including ofcom expects them to actually pay, 4chan doesn't comply, ofcom goes to the next part which is a ban. It's a boring process. The rest is theatre and slop
