Most important is feeling better. I didnt mean going carby. More staying no carbish but adding a sauce that might spark joy. Sgt fish has a garlic sauce recipe that I will modify when I am doing keto and it really brightens my day and keeps me low carb bc it adds so much flavor.

Carbs def cause inflmmation and pain. Once you get a taste of not having your attention constantly pulled to some ache, then staying no/low carb is soooo much easier.

I will cycle no/low carb times and find this helps keep me more disciplined when i do it.

I find that trying to add stuff in to what I'm eating is distracting and I mostly like how simple it is right now: thaw steak, grill steak. Heat pan, cook eggs. Salt. Use butter.

Besides, eating Angus porterhouse is NOT easy to top. 😁

Thank you. I have my goals and I'm still moving in the correct direction. Even moonlit setbacks are not data points, not the end of the world.

It is very different now. And it hasn't been too much work yet.

I wouldn't know about that. I'm much too reserved to let loose. I tend to be more steady, though, and... That's also necessary at times. 🤷‍♂️
