i think people try their very best at all the times

i think their very best is subject to change depending on conditions, environment & circumstances

as someone who has suffered depression for durations long enough that it ate my dream of motherhood because i didnt want my children to ever suffer the fear of a sick mom, & that's a personal thing, that's not, my recommendation or advice,

im simply saying as someone who has been there, while i dont think i would make a good depression counselor or group discussion leader, my offering to these tweets was to immediately think of this song as a poem

ultimately to say: let the perfectionism rest awhile. lay it down here beside me. the very best is not asked of you. nor is the very hard. neither is 'at all times'

try easy for now. simply try easy. rest. before you grind your teeth away to dust.
