Does anyone have any experience with the Speed.app Bitcoin and Lightning wallet?

They seem to be *new* custodial wallet that launched last May. They offer a nice visual on-boarding experience, support Bitcoin, Lightning, and Lightning addresses.

With Wallet of Satoshi falling out of the US market, maybe this wallet can help fill that hole? We'll need ample testing though. A new custodial wallet does set off some alarms for me, so please be careful.

I have also contacted them, requesting NIP-57 Zap support.

It seems Speed is an entire payment platform for merchants and developers. Very interesting...

Anyways, I heard of Mash before as nostr:npub13qrrw2h4z52m7jh0spefrwtysl4psfkfv6j4j672se5hkhvtyw7qu0almy was using it. I just emailed them too to see if they will add support for Zaps. Thank you.

Had some challenges with mash… liked a lot of its user functionality but not sure it was ideal wallet. Some challenge getting in touch with their team made me a little nervous. Would love to give it another shot though as fun feature set.

I have not. You have to create an account with an email address and password. So I assume it's just as easy as signing in again.

They answered me on Twitter and said they'll be adding Zap support to their roadmap. 🔥

All you need is LNurl address 💜

But while it is custodial you must trust

Hope is always here and never leave us.

It is the best WoS alternative.
