This is a difficult question to answer; we don't believe the future is certain, whether it will be a success or a failure. What we can do is make Bitcoin ecash more widespread and popular.
IMO they will run into the same problem. Apart from that, it is a trusted third party which has the capability to emit more ecash tokens than they can back with real bitcoin. I dont really understand why people do not freak out about that.
