I'm considering muting all of the fake CIA, FBI, etc accounts. It's a funny joke, but interacting with those profiles means that our IP addresses are constantly pining their real web servers trying to resolve the incorrectly (jokingly) configured Nostr addresses.
If you run these accounts, consider removing the Nostr address (NIP-05 ID configurations). Otherwise the joke could potentially be harmful to Nostr and Nostr users by bringing unwanted attention from users and clients.
If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear. Hate to see you gone 🫂. We are not the problem here
