It really does.

There have been so many discernable stages in my life that it's insane.

"time will tell" is an understatement imho

And that becomes more apparent the older one gets.

And it mostly just keeps accelerating. By my age, years are just flying by.

With that said, it goes by fast if you don't do a lot of new stuff. It's been shown that daily routine gives the impression of time passing faster. Hence, the need to find the right balance between routine and discovery.
