I’m not a coder, but if I tell you that to this day I can hand code a 6809 and understand what’s happening with the register would you be able to guess my age?

if i'd been able to use assembler on the 6809 in my first computer i would have ditched that Extended Color Basic immediately

so, yeah, 6809 is early 80s FYI and yes it was invented in the 70s and the basis of the 6800 family but it was its own thing
