You can do this plausibly, could just reset as new out of the box.
The trouble is that's not plausible.
I don't think technology can fix this actually.

It's not plausible that you're carrying an unconfigured, blank phone on you?
I was taking it to the shop to get the battery replaced. It keeps rebooting for no apparent reason.
