I think I've seen that video as well!
And it's always best to lead by example, to become someone who can inspire others through their own embodied truth, although individuation and "knowing thyself" is never an easy or a straightforward road... it's much easier to say "read this" or "do this" or "think about that" rather than reveal one's own messy and imperfect process (plus, I think even revealing the process can turn people away because they'll see that it's not all love, light & bliss - but I think those with the appropriate amount of courage in their hearts can really be "activated" like that). And, of course, no one's journey is the same is anybody else's.
C.G. Jung wrote in The Red Book something to the tune that one should not even emulate Christ, for Christ had his own path, and each and every one of us has their own, thus imitating him can actually lead us astray.
Found an exact quote as well (and there are others):
"His own way led him to the cross for humanity’s own way leads to the cross. My way also leads to the cross, but not to that of Christ, but to mine, which is the image of the sacrifice and of life."
Also...
“If the path before you is clear, you’re probably on someone else’s.”
― Joseph Campbell (although sometimes also attributed to Jung)
