If its not permisionless and uncensored its not bitcoin. Base chain was not built to settle transactions for 8 billion people. Fees were always going up to replace miner subsidies.
Devs are working on it via layer 2.

I am sounding the alarm to those who can create a solution. Im a Messenger, not a dev
But ser the pleb alarmists have been blaring for 10 days. Better to be a newbie dev than a megaphone for angst. Why not start your dev journey if you love Bitcoin?

Not looking for a nemesis. I dont know your story or background in bitcoin. I didnt call you anything, but your defensiveness and self assingment here is worth evaluating.
The alarms have been blaring with few putting forth tangible solutions, instead demands on the builders.
Broad strokes what do you think miners or devs should do to stop folks from using a permissioned and uncensored protocol the way they see fit?
I already stated I dont knoe the resolution. But ignoring this sttack will not stop it
Builders are not ignoring. Ive listed a few below who arent skipping a beat on onramp and payments.
For payments buy on strike or relai, send to non-custodial mutiny lightning wallet. Send and receive sats for next to nothing. Use AmbossGhost Address to create LN address and paste that human readable address whereever you want to receive instantaneous payment to your lightning wallet. When you've accumulated enought sats on lightning you can send to base chain and secure with collab custody multi sig with nunchuck or casa (shout out nostr:npub17u5dneh8qjp43ecfxr6u5e9sjamsmxyuekrg2nlxrrk6nj9rsyrqywt4tp) or diy with electrum or sparrow. Securing with a cold card or bitkey both of which are actively pushing firmware updates and features.
Builders are building. The devs are working. Support them with donations, moral support, or constructive ideas.
Indeed we are likely past the point where folks can buy coffee on chain. But The base chain is of the most scarce resources on the planet and therefore our known universe. It is bedrock on which yet to be imagined use cases willbe built. Imagine seeing the formation of the earth. How many billions of years before single cell organisms. How many more billions before multi cell. Now imagine what things would look like if anything but time and survival dictated what made it.
