Listening to spotify is the keeping-your-bitcoin-on-the-exchange. We all start there. I will increasingly lokey pressure you to take your coins off the exchange and buy a hardware wallet (record player and speakers).
Ive got a pretty nice sony system from the 80s/90s. Acceptably decent old country/blues/gospel record collection. Could use improvement.
Yeah, I think that "perfect" system is what we are all chasing. That is the dark side of this. There is someone who is like a shitcoin salesman pitching solid gold cables or something. But really, just putting on a record and having sound come out that you enjoy is enough.
Oh the system is perfectly good enough for me, im super happy with it. My record collection is what needs improvement.
My custom turntable is currently outta commission, needs a new motor, but my basic backup player works fine and the vintage SCOTT 188T speakers make the records sound great! My Techniques player never gets used because there needs to be two of those and a mixer to DJ with vinyl. Perhaps someday a fourth turntable will be mine, then it would be possible to at least practice DJing
