There's a big difference between Bitcoin "owners" and Bitcoin Maximalists.

The vast majority of people that own Bitcoin don't care much about the KYC requirements the US government is attempting to add.

The vast majority of Bitcoin Maximalists do.

Because some people use Bitcoin as a tool to acquire freedom, and some other people are retarded morons just following their impulses of greed.
