Fulfilling Old Testament prophecy, Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey as the humble king that the Jewish people were waiting for. But the same people that welcomed him with palm branches had him crucified by the end of the week. They wanted a conqueror, and Jesus was just that! But He came to conquer sin and death, not the Romans.
