We take for granted how empowering electricity is to the individual. There are large parts of the world where it’s still the societal norm for women to do all the house chores.

But by making electricity available a washing machine can be used and that frees up that women’s time and energy to pursue other productive activities.

Electricity is very important and Nuclear power is the best way to generate it. Renewables should not complete a grid but compliment it. We need a grid that’s powered by nuclear, hydrocarbons and complimented by renewables.
