Replying to Avatar Brisket

For Amethyst to translate you need to install the Google Play version.

The lighter version of the app doesn't include the translation libraries.

I'm not sure about the other clients.

It's dependent on the client how notes are rendered.

You might be able to copy the note contents & then drop them into a web translator. Usually a long tap or right click on the note.

It's a bit cumbersome, but it would get you by.
