nostr:npub14cgq353exzmhdsvqjtmw4dq7fvyleuls8umyrvd5umhr4gtx6asq7hqjhl how do I convince my local bitcoin meetup admins to add a dev to the organizers list instead of asking one of the existing yet not active 5 organizers to do it for us? Trying to organize a bit dev meetup since we have the nostrudel dev in our group

Reach out to them the best way you can, multiple times, in different ways possible (you can get ahold of them), and simply ask to join, help and grow the group.

Be active on their meetup page on the comment section (this gets blasted to every email attended, even if it goes in their spam, they'll see it), and make your own events. Invite them out.

*most likely if its on meetup. com, its not totally the organizers, the site is trash. 60-70% them, 30-40% site.

To that point, nostr:npub1ye5ptcxfyyxl5vjvdjar2ua3f0hynkjzpx552mu5snj3qmx5pzjscpknpr integrate a

"Meetup" section, pulling events from Flockstr. I need help building the tools we need for everyone over here

So trolling that they've not come to a meetup this year is the wrong answer?

I find my time is most productive building and creating freedom tools and tech alike

Also flockstr is unusable until the search bar actually works. Last I checked it doesn't even work if you type in the exact meetup name.

OK so it needs to be rebuilt I agree I find flockstr trash as well. They're the only ones in town so they get 100% market share.

We need a better way to organize meetups via nostr.

You can go and do your own meetup page please do it helps us grow but you'll just deal with their system paying ~$5-10/mo. (Pays for the SEO & reach at least).

Can we just upload a shit ton of copywrited material to flare.pub so dude gets dmca'd and has to work on flockstr?

I agree, problem is I'm not a builder, I'm a supporter of builders. Being a devops engineer means I don't know how to develop feature anymore, I can only make feature devs more productive 😕

Idk what the first part means. Its not that difficult as you know as a devops; just go start another meetup account and call it good. Done. Easy.
