If you can correctly identify this part first and why it is damaged, I will zap you ⚡️ 500 sats because I think it’s easy. 1000 sats for a sarcastic comment that makes me Lol 😂

gun related?
You’re on the right track!
ooh o.k so don't know how its called but I think it's the recess that holds the barrel back when the magazine ends..
Incorrect. Proper terminology accepted only. Might as well learn while we’re at it!
slide stop notch?
Ok now why is it worn/damaged?
too many times it was used I guess.
no idea if it's typical wear but if true it's a poor design decision as it leads to replacement of the slide instead of just the lever
Rather than poor design specifically perhaps the metal could be harder there or a sacrificial piece could be installed there (additional design could certainly solve the issue) with a small screw that could either be more durable or replaced easily. 🤙 1911 is a classic though.
track for cabinet drawer
you got pissed that the wooden pasta spoon was wedged inside the drawer and it wouldn’t open?
Nose exhale! Almost 😅
it sorta looks like obviously this object has another state in which something was bashing against the left side of that thing
and the top part is black anodised aluminium, and it looks fairly big, i mean, the metal content is large, ie, the top section is probably CNC machined and anodised
i'm betting this is some part of one of these fancy tablets or laptops or similar, it's hard to tell by scale but my guess is that cavity is under half an inch wide (you know probably your phone has macro capability?)
Way less than half inch. I actually probably don't know about this "macro capability," tell me? iPhone 13 in my hand. nostr:npub1rg33axugnlf7tpav3hy7n6xjdxeegk0exytucvuy9stmmm0h65nqrrstvg already solved it, so yes, it definitely gets bashed around, to put it mildly 😆
it usually uses a symbol that looks like a flower, it lets you take close up images with very good resolution, i'm sure the camera can do it... usually in that mode the depth of field is very narrow too so it lets you take pretty pictures of small things, with everything else progressively blurry
