I haven't had time to look into the controversy. But I've been very clear that my node will begin to ban miners that fail to filter out spam, ordinals and other non legitimate Bitcoin financial transactions.

I encourage all nodes to do the same. We should start with the biggest miners first. Since they're the biggest offenders. Hopefully there will be enough consensus among the nodes to isolate and ban bad actors.
