One of the ingredients in the U.S. version is dimethylpolysiloxane, a foaming agent preserved with neurotoxic formaldehyde. By using this foaming agent, McDonald’s workers do not have to change out the cooking oil as often, boosting corporate profits at the expense of consumer health.
