Which VPN are you using? Mulvad, NordVPN, CyberGhost,…?
None of the above, I run my own.
Than what’s the benefit?
Primarily to prevent ISP from 👀 and prevent anything I connect to from knowing my approximate location. Few other home networking benefits as well.
