I’m a devourer of movies and series. I like it! There are some that I can’t stop seeing, while the available seasons are not closed. And within this context, I arrived at the series “The Chosen”. This was a series that helped me in many ways. And although it is currently well commented by people I know; I confess that I have a certain resistance to watching movies and series that become fashionable and very popular. That’s why I didn’t see a range of materials that have become the pupil of many mouths. Anyway...

Resuming the reasoning here, before there was an abyss between the words written in the Bible, and the facts narrated there in the series and everything became very clear, succinct and passionate. There is much more in the sacred scriptures, besides what was mentioned there - I’m sure of that now; but I can’t help but validate the importance of their creators and the hand that guided them behind them, which was God, through those men and women, so that the message of Christ clearly reached many minds.

I don’t know why, but I really liked the apostle Matheus. Really! You can perceive a purity in his essence, for mastering a lot of wisdom about the opportunity that was given to him, but everything fell to the ground, when everything he knew, one day “turned to dust”. I twisted chapter by chapter, to see him with Jesus and healing his doubts and anguish. In his restlessness, he sometimes made me nervous - apprehensive, but always with the thought; I need to be like Matheus, like the disciples who did not doubt Christ and went with him, even when they did not know the path that would be traveled. 🙏

Maybe that’s why I enjoy reading the first chapter of the New Testament so much, which begins precisely with Matthew.
