If it can be captured it will, as it should be. The entire purpose/design is to make capture not possible, separate Money from the State. All attack vectors can be and will be pursued on the path to Bitcoin becoming the Unit of Account for the World. I don't see any other path, it will prove that the capture is not possible and then we can move on to the next thing that is going to "kill" Bitcoin.
While I believe in the thesis, I don’t believe that’s truly possible because every form of money we’ve ever known has been captured.
Political & Institutional capture is underway and nation states and elites with endless funding are likely are already big owners and we know that humans become greedy and bend a knee at the first sign of riches.
