if ppl were more self-aware & not so feeble-minded, they might simply just say directly that they have absolutely no idea of the realities of racism that is alive & well in the states; and regardless of their complete ignorance on the matter, it offends them to see that many of their fellow americans believe that racism still exists.

but it’s a cowardly kind of mentality in any case…a moral quandary of sorts, probably, i dunno.
